“Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don’t begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten.”
– Robert. L. Ehrlich
A Premier Early Childcare Program
As Cordova’s premier early childcare program, Paideia offers an intimate learning environment tailored to children between the ages of three to five years old. Our children enjoy a hands-on curriculum, open-ended engaging materials and a creative curriculum curated by a Harvard trained Executive Director. Paideia’s children are introduced to the culture of school by planning our activities in a classroom style setting equipped with learning centers. All learners are exposed to predictability, well-defined boundaries, variety and the advantages of an age integrated learning environment.
At Paideia, we are committed to:
Preparing children with a tailored curriculum, that stimulates positive reinforcement, social interaction and creative learning.
Adhering to the policies and regulations that govern Early Childhood learning on a local, state and national level.
Increasing the knowledge of our parents about research on early childhood learning to enhance their parental engagement with their child on a personal and educational level.
Developing multiple strategies of teaching and learning methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of early learners.
Establishing partnerships between Paideia Preparatory and community organizations to benefit the development and growth of the academy, our students and our parents.
Inspiring the emerging needs, altering interest and cumulative abilities of our students through an open-ended, play-based I curriculum, that is supported by an active participatory approach.
Accepting accountability for our role in guaranteeing a safe environment and delivering a high-quality student-centered curriculum that is executed by a consistent schedule that begets meaningful learning.
